Trinomics and its partners have completed the study ‘Building the investment community for innovative energy technology projects’ for the European Commission, DG Energy. The overall objective of this study was to contribute to increasing the volume of investment in innovative energy technology solutions by developing investment partnerships (i.e. the investment community). The realization of such technologies is pivotal for accelerating the EU energy transition and achieving its 2030 climate and energy targets.
Key deliverables of the project include a handbook to guide clean energy innovators in navigating the different financing options and a report with policy recommendations for the European Commission to address the main issues of clean energy investments. All deliverables are available on the project website, as well as on the website of the European Commission. More information on the project is also available on our project page here. This project has been delivered by Trinomics, London Economics, Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, adelphi and Climatekos.
