Content and Agenda – Back to back with the European Vocational Skills Week (20-24 November 2017), a half-day stakeholder workshop ‘The BUILD UP Skills initiative – taking stock and looking forward’ is being organised by the EASME and Trinomics (contractor supporting the Agency with the implementation and evaluation of the BUILD UP skills initiative).
The Workshop will start with a panel discussion between policymakers (European Commission DGs), industry representatives and VET experts and will be followed up by inspiring presentations from project coordinators of energy efficiency skills projects. Overall, the following three questions will be guiding the Stakeholder Workshop:
- Why do we need more skilled building professionals to reach Europe’s climate and energy targets?
- How is the BUILD UP Skills initiative contributing to filling the skills gap?
- What are the remaining challenges?
The full agenda is available here. The workshop is free but registration is required. If you are interested in participating, please sign up by sending an email to irati.artola@trinomics.eu
