The EEA has published a briefing ‘Releases of pollutants to the environment from Europe’s industrial sector’ based on the report ‘Transforming the EU power sector: avoiding a carbon lock-in‘ which was prepared with support from Trinomics. The EEA’s briefing analyses emissions from the largest industrial facilities (including power plants, petrochemical refineries and metal processing plants) which report under the European Pollutant Release and Transfer Register (E-PRTR).
