Trinomics is helping DG Environment and DG Climate Action to evaluate the 7th Environment Action Programme to see what worked well, and what could have worked better. The Evaluation focuses on the structure and strategic role played by the 7th EAP and asks how it helped to deliver a better environment in practice. In line with the European Commission’s guidelines for evaluations, the 7th EAP will be evaluated in terms of its effectiveness, efficiency, relevance, coherence and added value
As part of this evaluation we are leading a workshop on the afternoon of Thursday 21st June 2018 at the Committee of the Regions offices in Brussels. The workshop is to gain inputs from a wide range of stakeholders: EU, national, and regional authorities, business and industry organisations, think-tanks, NGOs, and academics. The purpose of the workshop is to gain your input, ideas and views on what worked well, and what worked less well with the 7th EAP. As this study directly supports the Commission’s evaluation of the 7th EAP, this is your opportunity to help influence the future environmental strategy for the EU. Numbers are limited, so we cannot guarantee you a place, but if you are interested, please contact william.keeling@trinomics.eu to register for the event.
