Trinomics, as lead partner, in collaboration with Alterra Wageningen, Climatekos Ltd, Ecologic, Get2C and Tecnalia has been selected by the European Investment Bank for the Framework Agreement on the provision of consultancy services to the Projects Directorate in the area of climate action, to support the EIB’s Environment, Climate and Social Office (ECSO).
The Projects Directorate provides advice to the EIB’s decision makers on the sector policy to followed and on the quality of projects, issuing independent opinions on the quality and risks of projects and on sector issues. It also plays and important role in advising promoters on the development and implementation of projects and is involved in policy formulation for the EIB to respond to EU policies. Following the EIB Statement of Environmental and Social Principles and Standards, ECSO defines and ensures implementation of the Bank’s policies promoting environmental sustainability and social well-being, in the broader context of the goal of sustainable development. This framework agreement supports ECSO for the integration of environment, climate and social considerations into all aspects of EIB work.
