Trinomics has successfully been selected this year for several Framework Agreements with the European Parliament and its Committees. We are very pleased to provide our services, knowledge and advice to our EU MEPs, EP Committees and Panels. Among others, Triple E Consulting has been selected for:
Framework Agreement on the provision of external expertise on regulatory and policy issues in the field of energy and climate change policies (Lot-4) to the EP’s Committee on Industry, Research and Technology (ITRE). Triple E Consulting, as lead partner, collaborates within the context of this Framework Agreement with Oeko Institute e.V, Aether and AF-Mercados EMI. This Framework Agreement will support the work of the ITRE Committee by enabling it to order studies, briefings and workshops to inform and prepare Committee Members on main energy and climate policy topics relevant to their work.
Framework Agreements on the provision of external expertise services in the areas of Science and Technology Options Assessment (STOA) regarding Energy (Lot-1) and Environment and climate change (Lot-3). Triple E Consulting acts as lead partner in both Framework Agreements, collaborating with TNO (Lot-1, Lot-3), ECN (Lot-1), ECN-NRG (Lot-1), Milieu Ltd (Lot-3) and REC (Lot-3). The STOA Panel has been entrusted to deliver advice regarding (technology) options and their impact on policy, and aims to be value-neutral and independent to allow for further scrutiny and political context to be added by the elected members of the European Parliament. To assist the STOA Panel, our consortia will carry out a broad range of tasks such as studies and assessments of individual technologies, such that the STOA Panel stays in close contact with the European and international research community.
Framework Agreement for the provision of external expert services in the fields of Impact Assessment and European Value Added, specifically in the area of Environment, Public Health, Food Safety, Employment and Social Affairs (Lot-3). Triple E Consulting is partner in a consortium, led by Milieu Ltd, that will support the EP by providing expertise for the assessment of legislative and policy proposals, as well as assessments of European added value in existing and potential policy areas. Moreover, the consortium will support the implementation of the Inter-Institutional Agreement on better law-making (2003/C 321/01).
