Trinomics, as consortium member, in collaboration with EY Belgium (lead), ARCADIS Belgium and ECOFYS has been selected by the Directorate-General for Regional & Urban Policy in the European Commission as one of the operators for a multi-million Framework Agreement for the provision of appraisal reports and thematic studies for sustainable growth that specifically aims to support the shift towards a low-carbon economy in all sectors, to promote climate change adaptation, risk prevention and management, and to protect the environment and promote resource efficiency.
The overall objective of this Framework Agreement is provide technical assistance for the assessment, monitoring and closure by the Commission of projects receiving assistance from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the Cohesion Fund (CF) and the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) in relation to the associated thematic or sectorial issues and audit of these projects. The envisioned scope of work includes legal, financial, socio-economic and technical advice on thematic or sectorial issues associated with the major projects in the field of regional development. The foreseen technical assistance concerns principally the programming period 2007-2013, but may also involve projects co-financed during the 2014-2020 period.
