Louise is a consultant at Trinomics since 2022. She primarily works on energy policy projects focused on renewable energy, energy efficiency and building decarbonisation, and regulation of energy networks and markets. Prior to joining Trinomics, Louise worked as a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers Belgium. Her work consisted in supporting public authorities in the elaboration, implementation, and evaluation of public policies, with a focus on economic, social and environmental sustainable development, and energy transition.
Louise holds a Master's degree in Economics with a specialisation in poverty and development, from the University of Louvain-La-Neuve and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Economics from Maastricht University. She wrote her Master's thesis on the decarbonisation of the Belgian residential sector and the policy options to deal with energy poverty in this context. During her studies, Louise did an internship as a data analyst in the Energy Department of the Belgian Ministry of Economy where she worked on the energy consumption of households. She is also currently taking a postgraduate certificate in energy and climate at the University of Antwerp to deepen her expertise on energy transition and climate change issues.
She is a native French speaker, speaks English and Dutch fluently and is a basic user of Spanish.
