Miguel is an analytical, diligent, creative, and versatile problem-solver, with experience mainly gained in research, analysis, report-writing, data modelling, and consulting. Miguel has specialised in sustainable finance for almost seven years, predominantly as a Research Manager at Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI) where he developed broad knowledge across sustainable finance with a focus on sustainable fixed income instruments. While he worked on and managed several of CBI's largest research projects, his main area of specialism was sustainability reporting. He conducted in-depth studies of reporting among thematic debt instruments globally and provided recommendations for various market participants, including around the links between instrument- and entity-level disclosures and transition plans. At Trinomics, Miguel works across green finance topics, such as sustainability reporting, taxonomies, transition plans, thematic bonds, and adaption finance.
