Henjo joined the Trinomics team in January 2021. Since then, he is working as a consultant on diverse range of climate and energy policy projects among others for the European Commission, national governments as well as other international organisations. His work is mainly focuses on the energy transition, industrial decarbonization and broader climate policy. He has experience with among others policy analyses (evaluations, impact assessments), energy infrastructure (gas, electricity), renewable energy support schemes, carbon pricing and sectoral emission reduction pathways (e.g. in agriculture). Also, through extensive project work for Dutch clients - such as the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy - Henjo is especially familiar with the Dutch energy and climate policy context.

Before joining Trinomics, Henjo studied Innovation Sciences (MSc) at the Technical University of Eindhoven and followed a part of his degree at National Technical University in Taipei (Taiwan) and the University of Cordoba (Spain). Henjo also holds a combined BSc degree in chemistry and physics from the University of Nijmegen.

He is a native Dutch speaker and is fluent in English.
