This project supported the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and the ENACT Partnership in the development of the Nature‑based Solutions (NbS) Accelerator Pathways Report, a flagship publication aimed at accelerating the global uptake of NbS to address climate change, biodiversity loss and land degradation. The project brought together evidence from existing research, insights from ENACT partners and stakeholders, and real‑world case studies across key systems including agriculture, water, human settlements, oceans and coastal areas, and green‑grey infrastructure. Its objective was to identify clear and actionable pathways for strengthening policies, financing and on‑the‑ground implementation of NbS, particularly in the context of major international processes such as UNFCCC COP30. The project delivered a comprehensive, policy‑relevant report alongside targeted communication materials, providing decision‑makers, practitioners and funders with practical guidance to scale up high‑integrity NbS and support coordinated climate and biodiversity action worldwide.
