Andreea Beznea is a Consultant at Trinomics.
Andreea joined Trinomics in July 2018 after having completed her postgraduate studies in Behavioural Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam. During her MSc, she participated in several consulting and research projects that enabled her to apply behavioural theories to economic problems and consumer decision-making tasks. Her thesis consisted of an online experiment testing the impact of dual-process theory on the willingness-to-pay for environmentally conscious products. Prior to commencing her studies in Rotterdam, she worked as a consultant for Deloitte Romania, as part of a team focused on EU and national funding instruments. During this time, she had the opportunity to interact with clients from various sectors, including waste management and agriculture.
At Trinomics, Andreea has contributed to projects covering a mix of topics and research methodologies, allowing her to leverage her quantitative skills while also deepening her knowledge of environmental policies. Her most recent project experience includes the analysis of the stakeholder consultation on the EU’s long-term GHG emissions reduction strategy, and research assistance provided in the context of a meta-analysis of environment- and climate-policy evaluations.
In addition to her MSc from EUR, Andreea holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics and International Development from Bath University, UK. Andreea is a fluent speaker of English, Romanian and French, and a basic user of German.
